Summary: What’s New for ASE 16.0 SP04PL05 Chris Baker will be speaking about ASE 16.0 SP04PL05 new features and roadmap items for the upcoming ASE release. Join us to hear about the latest and greatest information. Chris Baker is the SAP Product Manager for Adaptive Server Enterprise and Replication Server, as part of a Sybase career going back to pre-acquisition Sybase Canada in the year 2000. As Product Manager Chris is the interface between SAP Engineering and customers. Chris Brown's presentation is entitled: Password synchronization in RepServer and ASE using Active Directory / LDAP Summary: In this session, we will discuss integrating Active Directory / LDAP within your ASEs and Replication Servers to provide password synchronization between your enterprise directory server and your databases. This will simplify user management, password management, user locking, etc from the DBAs perspective, and will improve security in your environment by giving a central place for user security. Learn how to integrate LDAP password user authentication within ASE and Replication Server, along with some best practices. Eduardo MARQUES will present an IQ success story entitled: Big time analytics on a shoe-string budget. Summary: Eduardo will talk about how they leveraged SAP IQ to cut costs, increase throughput, exponentiate revenue. The meeting will be held through Zoom and you must register at the link provided above to attend. An email will be sent directly to all registered attendees 1-2 days before the meeting. All members are invited to attend, although Associate Members will not be permitted to vote on any pending action required by the membership. We hope you will participate in this important aspect of your ISUG-TECH membership. If you are unable to attend, minutes of the meeting will be available afterwards, as well as (we hope) a recording of the meeting.
